The Veterans Foundation of Illinois is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that relies on public donations to support programs that promote citizenship education and volunteerism and facilitate aid for veterans and their families in need of medical, rehabilitative, educational and employment services.

Although the Veterans Foundation of Illinois is separate from the VFW, its commitment is the same: improving the lives of veterans and service personnel, their families and their communities.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Veterans Foundation of Illinois as well as the Veterans of Foreign Wars is to support programs to increase awareness of the sacrifices of America's veterans, to promote citizenship education, volunteerism and positive youth programs and to facilitate aid for veterans and their families in need of medical, rehabilitative, educational and employment services.

The Veterans Foundation of Illinois is committed to improving the lives of veterans and service personnel, their families and their communities.
